I believe that all Macs with built in floppy disk drives have the
hardware to write to ProDOS floppy disks.  The issue with auto inject
vs. manual inject floppy drives have to do with the latter type being
unable to properly create 800K ProDOS formatted disk.  I use a Mac
7200/90 with its manual inject disk drive without any problems as long
as the floppy disk I use was formatted first on an Apple II.
