My Quadra 840AV has difficulties when using ProDOS-formatted disks:
Its rather slow and sometimes it doesn't recognize the disk (and offers
to format it) - regardless whether it was formatted on the GS or the
Mac.

On the other hand the GS reads HFS(?) formatted disks from the 840AV
without problems.
