I am nervous about opening up the drive for refurbishment.  My
adventure trying to replace the drive belt of the Famicom Disk System's
disk drive was a minor nightmare in itself.  I may have twisted a gear
shaft within the drive, but as I have none of the special disks I don't
know for sure.

As for the Duo Disk, I am fortunate in that there are fewer moving
parts in 5.25" drive assembly.  However, once I open the drive, I may
find belts looking clearly in need of replacement.  Where will I be
able to find a replacement?

Speaking of plastic, is there any way to restore the plastic of a
Platinum IIe, because it clearly seems yellowed.
