Today, computer desks don't seem to work well with the standard Apple
II-IIe models. The question becomes where do you put the system. I
would want the keyboard at a level where I could type comfortably. The
Apple II keyboard is rather raised compared to the detachable keyboard
of the IIgs and even the lower profile keyboard of the IIc. If you set
it on the main portion of many desks, the profile is so high that
typing on it becomes awkward and uncomfortable. But many of the
pullout desks won't support the height of the unit or the length of the
unit. Other than upgrade to the more modern IIgs, are there any
recommendations of a desk to use with an Apple II?
