Misconceptions about my floppy argument
I have been reading the previous thread that I started and there has
been some misunderstandings. I apologize for my lack of communication.
I DO USE a 256MB USB flash drive, and I do use my ibooks CD-R drive to
burn CD's. I would never in a million years use a floppy over a CD for
permanent storage.
I also have a Zip drive but its rarely used anymore. I only bought it
for compatibility with my 20+ zip disks from my older computing days,
which was long before the Internet, wifi, CD burners, or flash drives
ever arrived.
LISTEN CAREFULLY
I DO USE FLOPPIES for my resumes when I go to certain unemployment
centers and temp agencies. Like today I was in a temp agency and handed
the clerk my resume on a floppy which she printed.
HER PC DID NOT HAVE A USB PORT NOR A CD BURNER!! It appeared that her
machine was very old.
If you do not understand the economy of my area and why its so tough to
find work then you need to do some research. I do not want to sound
like Weatherly so please forgive me. I am not trying to be difficult,
just honest.
