Actually, a CFFA is a *wonderful* backup solution.  Not only are
128MB/256MB CF cards cheap, but you can trivially carry one to your
PC and use CiderPress to save an image of it--and then transfer it
to a CD-R if you wish.  Very fast, and very convenient.
