Minor nitpick: All Apple IIc models, including the IIc Plus, use an IWM.
The only Apple II related peripheral to use a SWIM controller chip was
the Apple II 3.5 Disk Controller Card (aka SuperDrive card). It nearly was
added to the Apple IIgs, you can find a SWIM on "Mark Twain" prototype
boards.
