IIgs using IIc monitor and IIc external floppy?

Hi,
I currently have a IIc, with the 9" monitor IIc, and external Disk IIc.
I want to get a IIgs, but in case I am not able to find a reasonably priced
cpu/RGB monitor pair, can the IIgs make do with the monitor IIc?
Can it also use the Disk IIc? I don't know if the port is identical to the
Apple 5.25 Drive
