XML also provides an answer to this problem: today we have high bandwidth
networks all over the planet which gets faster all the time, and our
harddisks are getting bigger and bigger. With what shall we fill our
bandwith and our harddisks?
The answer seems to be: XML ..... :-)
The next step is to provide a new standard for transmitting live
HDTV images. The image data shall of course be transmitted
uncompressed - but then it should also be converted to ASCII (as base64
or even hex), and finally packaged into some XML standard format... <g>
