Heh... yeah, I have a TWGS. never even thought of that.... I'll have to try without the accelerator.
As for cleaning mouse balls. I actually bought a new-old-stock ADB trackball with a 2" diameter ball a couple weeks ago... it's actually more fun than using a mouse for this game(IMHO)....and as a side affect of it being completely unused.... theres no wear, tear, or dirt to contend with... not yet anyway.
