I've got an Apple IIgs with the Apple SCSI card in it and an external
hard drive connected to that. I've installed 6.0.1 on the HD and the
computer runs fine using the HD.
I also have a 3.5" drive which works in 6.0.1. If I insert a disk the
OS picks up that a disk was inserted and mounts it. I just picked up a
5.25" drive and installed it on the system. However, 6.0.1 does not
see it that I can tell. I thought maybe the drive was bad, but if I
switch the boot disk to the Smart Port and reboot the IIgs with a
bootable floppy in the 5.25" drive the system will boot to that disk.
As a precaution, I booted the 6.0.1 Installer and re-installed the
Apple 5.25 driver. Still no luck after that.
Any ideas what is going on?
