Re: new internal hd option for apple lisa and apple iii cf/ide
I understand that there is a high development cost involved in developing
the card. I also understand that people are paying $600 to $1200 for Lisa's
today. But, I still think that the initial asking price for the card is
extreme based on the cost of newer and faster technology. That, however is
thr purchaser decision to make. What is the card worth to him or to her?
Personally, if I owned a Lisa or a III I would not spend that kind of money.
On the other hand, I did spend about $140 for a MicroDrive for my GS. Why?
Because it's quieter than my external hard drive and I hope that it will
last longer than my external hard drive. My decision...
My opinion... The price of the Lisa/Apple III card is extreme.
Nothing personal Bill, just my opinion.
