No, for the adapter. You need to power it, silly.

I'd say you could use any 2 cards as long as they aren't
power hungry. It does switch from one to the other, right?

Actually I'd like to borrow the card for a short time if that
would be a possibility. Sorry I didn't answer your email. Had
it stuck in a saved folder and forgot about it.
