After finding a copy listing of the memory map of the Apple IIe I've begun
implementing it and all related hardware (I still don't have the core yet,
that'll take another weekend probably)

I've been looking at the source code to YAE and SDDApple and it would seem
this is the memory map for $C000-$C07F (i'd like to know if i have this
correct)

You really need to get a copy of the Apple II Reference Manual,
and probably a real Apple II to have any hope of really understanding
this stuff.

You wouldn't happen to know where i can get a copy of this manual would
you? I'm certain that it would help a lot. a real apple II would be
better but existing emulators that are open source should be sufficient
for understanding whats going on, albeit slowly.

The universal source for all things Apple II is eBay. There are
usually several Reference Manuals up for auction at any time.

..or someone here might have a spare for you.

Using emulators as a reference to the original is somewhat
workable, but dangerous. If you aren't careful, you'll wind
up reproducing bugs, too.
