anyway...it is guite "intimidating" for a look....the same kinda
steel/thickness used on the sides of the standard //+ vented drive case
(black floppy type)...it is platinum in color....and 1 piece of metal
front/bottom/back all same part.....with only punchouts in the back for
power cord and standard power supply switch...
can't remember the movie..but looks like someone just "morphed" front of
the drive off....especially when it looks in all other ways like a standard
5.25 floppy black faced drive...from back in the day

Interlocking "U"-shaped pieces is actually the simplest case design,
and both avoids having to make a sheet metal "box" and provides access
from three sides with the cover off.

the other unit that comes to mind is that virtual disk drive project (forget
the link) unit that is in the same size setup...would be kinda neat to just
get some metal shop skills and just make a standard case this side and use
same for say a scsi hd case

anyway...again the serial number is low 300's so it prob did not go anywhere
sales wise

be nice if someone had a manual/flyer for the beast it was made by m and r
electronics same people who made the sup r mod ext joystick dip switch
deally

And, of course, the first product that established their name,
and the pattern for all their other product names, the Sup'R'Mod
UHF RF modulator.
