the 14Mhz processor on this card and upgrade the other one instead? I
presently don't have any real benchmarking software to see what's going on.
I had a 6.25 that felt a lot faster than a 7. (My 6 had more cache.)
This may or may not be due to cache, GALs and firmware revision. All
three must work together to optimize throughput. Once I upgraded my
CPU, cache and firmware, they evened out but one still seems a bit
faster than the other even though they 'benchmark' the same. It can be
seen when I run them side by side in GSOS. Of course then there may be
a machine differences. But I have seen what you are referring to on the
same machine.
(Just don't sell the faster one.)
