Does 1.4 MB Mac SuperDrive support GCR-encoded floppies (Apple IIGS 800K)?
I think I read somewhere it does, but couldn't remember.
Or do I absolutely have to use a Mac 800K floppy drive?
The reason is, I'm considering getting a cheap and small old Mac (SE,
SE/30, Classic, etc) to make it much easier to transfer files to the
IIGS through either AppleShare/LocalTalk or by floppy disk.
I did this (network) with my IIGS many years ago, so I know it works. ;)
