     Yes; you can change ".DO" to ".DSK" (or ".dsk"). There is no difference
in the format. 

     The difference is in what you are saying about the image. ".DO" says it
is a DOS 3.3 sector-order image. ".DSK" says it is either DOS 3.3 order or
ProDOS order--  e.g. the emulator knows it is supposed to figure out which.

     Actually, the usual practice favors all 5.25" .dsk images being in DOS
3.3 order (and, most are). One big reason is that the popular disk transfer
utility, ADT, works with ".dsk" files. The .dsk images it creates are in DOS
3.3 order; and, ADT assumes that the .dsk images it transfers to diskette are
in DOS 3.3 order.
