Re: Apple II with Lantronix?

i am getting the lantronix MSS1-T Micro Serial Server from ebay..i to want
to see how these beasties work..i got the .pdf of the manual (completely
lost me.but i will continue to muck with it) ..anyway it would be nice if
there was a generic kinda walk thru to set up these devices so let me know
how it goes

(heck i'll prob end up sending the works to terry olsen again..but will try
to get thru it)

anyway ...that is another version of this device that according to terry
should work...they may still be listed on ebay..if nothing else for those
interested...here is the link to the auction i won..he still has two
available ..here is the link

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5789791408&ssPageName=MERC_VIC_RSCC_Pr4_PcY_BIN_Stores

he has on that link ...links to the .pdf manuals etc so for those interested
in this you can check out what the manuals say to do

or just buy one...and we can gripe to each other as we try to get them
up...sigh

anyway the manuals via this link might be of note to some of you tech types
to look over for jollies

i'll let you know when mine arrives and what kinda luck i have (i think i
can prob get past the bubble wrap
and get the unit out of the box....but then i distract easy and prob will
just play with the bubble wrap..probably
the same result will happen (nothing) ..when i actually try to get the beast
to work.
