Ok, need help with a couple of expansion boards...
One says its a 'videx 44439' but its missing a chip.. no idea what chip i
need to shove in there.. its the chip right above the main chip, just left
of one of the character set EPROMS ( says standard 7x9 ). I assume its a
80Col video.. But with out the missing chip I'm afraid to try it.
Sounds like the Videx 80 column card. The card has room for three EPROMs
which contain character sets. Most cards didn't have all three EPROMs
but you could order them from Videx or if you had an EPROM burner you
could design your own character set. You can download a PDF of the
manual at http://www3.telus.net/waynes/videx_videoterm.pdf
The other board is intact, i just have no idea what it is.. Its full size,
and has a tag that says 'sequential systems, C1991, rev QPII-09BG '.
I can post images of both...
Sequential Systems made a number of cards, a pic would help
