Since you have a bootable Beagle disk, have you checked through your
collection for a disk that boots DOS 3.3? For some, you can do a Reset after
getting to an intro screen and use the DOS to INIT diskettes. Some copiers,
like Copy II Plus, can put DOS 3.3 on diskette, too.
Getting DOS 3.3 into your Apple II via the tape input using output of a
.wav file sounds like a fairly messy proposition.
First, you would need a for-sure good .wav file copy of the output of an
Apple II doing a tape save of DOS. Then, you would need to fiddle with output
level from your PC when reading in the code to the Apple II. Then, you would
need to enter the hooks for DOS into memory. (The info is available; but,
it's one more chore in the process.)
If your Apple II has a serial card or built-in serial I/O, an easier
approach is to download the DOS 3.3 dump file from GSWV and follow directions
to transfer DOS 3.3 to a diskette on the Apple II.
See http://apple2.org.za/gswv/a2zine/Sel/dos33dmp.htm .
Even easier would be to send someone a few bucks to cover costs and
request DOS 3.3 plus a few utility programs on diskettes.
