Accelerators such as the Transwarp make your Apple II faster. If you're
doing real work with your II, it'll take less time for your page layouts to
render and your spreadsheets to recalculate. If all you do is play old
games downloaded from Asimov, you'll probably end up running with the
accelerator off most of the time...unless you're up for the challenge of
playing at a faster speed.
