If the thing had more memory, it'd be really useful with my TRS-80 model II
and S-100 CP/M systems. As it is, it'll barely hold one SSSD 8-inch floppy
image (243K).
Adapting it to a standard SA-800 50-pin connector should be trivial; the
right answer there is to make up two adapters analogous to the existing
34-pin ones.

What it really needs is more memory and a USB port. A bigger/faster
microcontroller could do wonders with that box. The right programming would
even allow it to look like a USB storage device to the PC, eliminating the
need to run special software on the PC side - and even allow file transfers
by having both sides connected at the same time. (As long as you don't try
to write simultaneously.)
