Apple Z5 interpreter...
I have written or ported a few games to Inform, and have considered trying
to port them to the Apple //e using Beyond Zork's Z5 interpreter...
The first game I ported had some cosmetic bugs, and the second, well, I
made sure to work around them.
But I'd like to be able to port games for which I might not have the
source.
I am wondering, if perhaps, I'm not a very good programmer, maybe it could
be possible to hack together a new z5 interpreter, along with some way to
create disk images to run it somewhat like "inftod64" for Commodore
64/128, to make 1 or 2 disk images, which contain the game. I would think
the interpreter would need to be a bit light, since there's only about
20-24K for it if you chock both disks full.
Part of what brought this to mind was about the Z5 version of HLA
Adventure.
