The ones my friends in Apple II engineering used in-house were faster
than a normal GS; they weren't shipped outside the company.  Maybe the
same code name was used.

Possibly the only difference was a very minor change to the board design.
Unfortunately I don't know any of the hardware engineers that were
involved.
