Maybe I should have checked the manual before replying. Manual says the 128ex doesn't have a speed setting in the control panel. I don't recall ever looking at the control panel in the Laser 128 or 128ex but the manual says the control panel on them lacks settings for speed,boot slot or date and time Wayne
