And let's count the number of times PC owners just went out and bought
new PCs/ Windows/msWord/Office etc., just because their old PCs were so
full of virii and spyware, that they just gave up on them.

Get real. PC owners buy more computers, more often. They keep paying
for the same crappy software over and over again (win95, win98, ME, XP,
Norton AV, Office 200xx) because they've bought into some bizarre
belief system. (Hmmm... kinda like Bush voters...get fired, get
children sent to war, get taxed, get screwed, vote for Bush again.)
