What system are you using on your LC II? System 7.5.5? If at all
possible I suggest to go to System 7.1.x. The Apple //e card software
well be more stable then and when you go to restart the Apple //e (when
you are in //e mode) it doesn't end up restarting the Mac as well. But
that's up to you.
Using System 6.07 on your SE? I +think+ it's been while here, you
can drag a copy of the PRODOS init (from the Apple //e install disk) to
your system folder and you will be able to mount ProDos disks on your
SE bypassing Apple FileExchange altogether.
Now the more and more I think of it, it should work. The first LC
Came out with System 6.07(then replaced with System 6.08) and the Apple
//e card came out shortly after the LC did.
