The IIgs, by default, does not shadow the area for text page 2
($800-$BFF) from bank $00 to bank $E0.  I think it was done to speed
up the memory shadowing because very few programs ever used text page
2.  If you turn on Alternate Display Mode then text page 2 will get
shadowed but your machine will run a little slower.

There are a few programs that do require text page 2 so if you run a
program and get a text screen filled with "2" then you most likely
need to turn on the Alternate Display Mode for that program to work.
