Even on top of that. I can use my CF card reader to capture
my hard drive images from the CFFA and Microdrive drives, and
keep them for use on emulators. Especially useful on ActiveGS,
a Java based offline version of Kegs. I haven't tried yet, but
I'm sure I can connect an IDE drive to either of those cards
and load them up, then take them to the PC and use Ciderpress
to draw the ProDOS partitions from those, as well.
My biggest use for it lately has been to create 1440K images,
load them up and overwrite MS-DOS formatted disks with the
images which can be read on the Apple II using the superdrive.
Anyone with a superdrive controller will find this feature of
endless use. You can also read a 1.4 MB disk from the superdrive
into a disk image on the PC this way. It's a great program and
I will never let Andy forget that. Thanks again Andy for making
my Apple II experience the best it's ever been.
