Apple IIGS and 3.5 drive

I bought a 3.5 drive A9M0106 and daisy chain connected to an existant
working 5.25 (first drive)
When I boot prodos and cat,d2 I get a no device connected the drive doesn't
start at all.
If I connect it as a first drive only it won't boot at all (no power light
and no drive start)
Is it bad or won't work on a IIGS, or doesn't it work with prodos ?
