I think the rear headphone output is the culprit, anyway. On the internal speaker I don't hear the polling sound (a faint "plopping") at all. Because of a "restructuring" of my computer workplace I have no room for an external speaker at the moment anyway so I'm troublefree now ;-) I think I'll keep this configuration until I can get my fingers on a sound card. bye Marcus
