Re: GeeThree PS/2 to ADB adapter and the IIGS

I've tried the GeeThree PS/2 to ADB adapter on my ROM 3 IIgs. I tried
it with 6 different PS/2 mice, all different brands and types
(mechanical, optical, wireless) and none worked correctly. Either the
pointer didn't move, the buttons didn't work, the pointer motion was
very jerky and inconsistent, or a weird problem occurred in which
nudging the mouse would cause the GS to d....r....a....g.... and almost
appear frozen until the mouse was unplugged, or a combination of the
above. I tried a MacAlly 2-button ADB mouse with similar results. The
only mice I have gotten to work successfully with the GS have been
Apple mice.

Also interestingly, I wasn't ever able to get the GeeThree PS/2 to ADB
adapter to work quite right on my Macintosh Performa 6500/225 either.
GeeThree.com sent me a replacement adapter, which didn't fix things, so
they then sent me a refund.
