Yes, you can swap ROM's with either a IIplus or with an Applesoft ROM
card. A friend of mine did just that back in the early 1980's -- he
had an Apple II (nonplus) with Integer Basic ROM's on the motherboard.
Then he got an Applesoft ROM card. Later he wanted a Language Card and
Applesoft ROM's on the motherboard, in order to be able to boot ProDos.
So he just swapped the ROM's on the motherboard with the ROM's on the
Applesoft ROM card (which then became an Integer Basic ROM card). It
worked fine!
