Hi all,
I bought some apple ii cards on ebay, one of those is a Micro sci drive
controller, I put it on my Apple IIe and it is functioning, anyone knows
what are the advantages of using it ? I'd like to know why does it hold its
own Eprom, is it to control a dos/prodos cache ?
I suppose this controller should be faster than standard disk II, but don't
know if it can handle higher density diskettes (probably not using standard
disk II drives..)
Does anyone have a link with more info on it ? II would appreciate if anyone
has a MicroSci disk utility image to share on the internet (I think the card
was supposed to have at least one test disk ...)
Thanks
Mirko
