My ][+ had 16K of RAM when I bought it and I later bought an Integer Card
which made it pretty close to a "real" Apple II.  And yes I used a cassette
tape recorder for a while but I will admit that when I finally broke down
and bought a floppy drive, Apple was already using 16 sectors.
