Upgrading an Unenhanced IIe

Today I bought a IIe and a Duo Disk Drive for $15. After taking hours
to clean the thing of dust, it worked. I quickly discovered that the
IIe is unenhanced. I would prefer an enhanced IIe. Apple sold upgrade
kits that included a 65c02 and three ROM replacement chips. Is there
anybody that sells the replacement chips? Or should I get an expanded
IIe board off eBay and replace the board?

Also, as this is an unenhanced IIe, it won't do Double High Resolution
Graphics. (Double Low Resolution as well, presumably.) I heard
there is a way to modify the Apple IIe board to get Double High-Res.
Can anyone provide me with instructions on how to do this? Or is it
easier to get a newer motherboard? I would prefer to keep this
motherboard because if a chip goes out, it is socketed for easy
replacement. (Platinum IIe boards may have some soldered chips.)

Finally, I have an Apple IIe 80 Column/RGB in the auxilary expansion
slot. I assume this device has 64KB of RAM on it so double high
resolution graphics would be possible. (It has 8 4264s on it, which are
64Kx1 chips.) What types of RGB monitors can I use with this card?
