The 69020 did not have a built-in MMU. It had more address lines (the
68000 had the core to address as much memory, but didn't bring the pins out),
and could better deal with co-processors. There was an MMU and a math
coprocessor introduced to go with it.
This is why my Mac LC will not run Linux, it has no MMU. That SUN computer
someone gave me that has a 68020 has an external MMU so it can.
So it would arrive internally with the 68030.
