Is there any way to change ProTERM's startup port speed from 9600 to say
57600? I have the following hardware setup:
Apple IIgs <--> Null Modem Cable <--> PC Serial Port <-
-> ModemEmulator Program <--> Internet via Telnet
I have a ProTERM running on the Apple IIgs. It's default port speed is
9600. This is the speed at which it initializes the modem when the program
first starts up. When you dial out to a remote system, you can tell it what
port speed to use (I like 57600) and it will change to that speed for
connecting to that system. When you disconnect, it goes back to 9600.
This presents a problem for my ModemEmulator app. If I open the pc serial
port at 9600, the terminal program can send it's intialization string and
get back the OK signal. But then I am stuck with using 9600 for connecting
out to other systems.
If I open the pc serial port at 57600, then Proterm can't send the
initialization string to the ModemEmulator app and it errors out on startup.
Is there any way to change the port speed which ProTERM uses on startup?
