It wouldn't be that hard to mount a low profile (emphasis LOW) PC-style
muffin fan, mounted to blow upward, with the wires running out the back of
the GS to an power adapter to accomplish the same thing. Might even be more
efficient. You'd have to mod the case - possibly even cutting open a hole on
the power supply - but I've seen some very low profile Delta fans that might
squeek in without too much hassle.
Ed Eastman had something similar setup at KFest.
Humm, time to open some source books - might be a project.
