I have Omnipage which seems to be working OK.

zeros and O's get mixed up, I's and L's.  For
the most part it is working good.

ScanSoft OmniPage SE 2.0 for the PC.  It
doesn't let you set tabs in the output file
as far as I can see.  I'd like an OCR app that
would allow me to set tabs, or the column
of OUTPUT text that parts of the graphic
would get scanned into.

Anybody have good experience with other
OCR programs?

You cut the size of archives of books by 1000
times or more by OCR'ing the text.
