Re: Dead serial ports?



Well,

I purchased a Mac modem cable, a PC modem cable, and I made my own null
modem adapter exactly according to the FAQ.  Still no go.

I tried several different operating systems, including XP and Linux.
Nope.  Not one character transferred.

Maybe I should give up on this, as I think that my GS serial ports are
dead.  Is there any reliable way to test them?
