With a //c+ I could do it. This is because the 3.5" disk formatting
code is in the ROM. All you need do is upload a small program over the
serial port which when started formats an 800KB disk and then sucks
an 800KB image up the serial line and writes it block by block to the
disk. This would also work on a //c with a UniDisk 3.5. I may try this
out on my IIe with 3.5 controller card.
