That is correct. Prodos 1.9 and BASIC.SYSTEM 1.4.1 also go together.
The most common setup on old disks is Prodos 1.1.1 and BASIC.SYSTEM
1.1. On a GS, you need Prodos 1.2, which also came with BASIC.SYSTEM
1.1. There are other combinations too, but it really doesn't matter.
In theory, any version of BASIC.SYSTEM should run with any version of
Prodos, except maybe Prodos 1.0.1.
If you have anything other than a II+, then you should use 2.0.3 and
1.5, and if you have a II+, then you should use 1.9 and 1.4.1, although
in my own tinkering 1.9 and 1.5 worked fine together, but I don't have
a II+, so if there is a 65C02 instruction in BASIC.SYSTEM 1.5, it won't
run on the II+. The only catch with this approach is that Beagle Bros
(and probably others) had some neat patches to 1.1.1 (actually
BASIC.SYSTEM 1.1 itself) that don't work with any other version. I've
found and posted a few fixes which you should be able to search out on
this news group, but there are a lot more out there.
Hope this helps;
Mike
