I checked, and USPS surface parcel post for 40 lbs would cost around
$40 from the US to Germany, and would take 4-6 weeks. Airmail Parcel
post would be around $81 and take 4-10 days. That's probably more than
a IIgs with drives would weigh, though. I've been 'shopping' for a
Monitor III for my Apple III and I've been getting shipping quotes for
20-25ish pounds for a monitor.
