I'm not sure what SCSI card he was using but at the last KFest I
attended there was someone there who had a SCSI DVD-ROM drive
connected to his IIgs. He couldn't play DVD movies, obviously, but it
worked fine for data discs.
I had heard, years ago, that the RamFAST didn't like drives larger
than 1 GB but I have used a 1.2 GB drive connected to a rev D RamFAST
without any problems. The biggest problem is partitioning as the
built in utilities for the RamFAST only support 12 partitions.
