I have an Apple HS SCSI and I put it in slot 4. Being that you have a
ROM 3 you can put it here and still have access to the mouse in GSOS.

This can go in slot 5 but I put mine in slot 6. I don't have a 5.25
drive hooked up to my IIgs and this gives me the ability to boot some
of the older software that won't boot off the Superdrive controller.

I keep mine in slot 1.

Slot 3.

Slot 7

Memory slot.

You don't need this unless you have some specific software that
requires it. The IIgs has a built-in serial port that can go faster
than the SSC anyhow.

You need to get an external Superdrive to take advantage of the
superdrive controller card.
