I'd like to do that too. At present, there are only three ways I know
to do it.

1) Get a LANceGS ethernet card and use Marinetti through it.
Unfortunately, I can't afford to buy a LANceGS card, even though I'd
love to have one, so I can't do that yet.

2) Run some version of UNIX on your PC and you can get things set up
to do a null-modem TCP/IP connection. I've done this in the past
using Slackware Linux but I'm not sure I want to go through the hassle
of setting up a version of UNIX again. I'm sure that newer versions
are easier to deal with but I've got better things to do. :-)

3) Get a Mac with an ethernet card and set it up on your LAN with your
PC then set up an Appletalk network between the Mac and your IIgs.
Then install IPNetRouter or similar software on the Mac and use the
MacIP link layer for Marinetti. You should be able to talk to the Mac
and have it relay TCP/IP packets to the PC which will relay them on to
the internet.

Just so you know, Andrew Roughan has been working on a link layer for
Marinetti to do MS-CHAP, which is required to do any sort of
null-modem internet sharing through Windows, but it is not ready yet.
