Quite a few of the mature Linux distributions come with netatalk. You can
always download it separately. If it runs under Linux, it'll run under
BSD and most other *NIX distributions. I don't know how far they are with
Apple// support, but from what people here are saying, work is
progressing. So far nobody (here) has complained about Mac support.
If you do decide to go this route... Minimum of a Pentium class machine,
plenty of hard drive space and RAM will reduce the number of headaches.
