yes, you were correct, it is a clone of the Softcard! I could confirm that
by seeing this picture:

Mine is just slightly different, in that the dip switches are blue, and, of
course, the 40 PDIP IC is not marked (which is a bit silly).

But I have another mistery card: it has a 6522 (VIA) and another TTL IC on
it, nothing else. It has a cable that ends in a 25 DSUB female connector. It
could be some kind of parallel port, or maybe it's this Apple mouse card I
hear talking about. What do you gentlemen think?
